How to View Playroll Fees

Playroll charges a monthly service fee based on the country where you plan to hire. You can view the complete fee list directly from the platform by following the steps below.

Step-by-Step Guide to Accessing the Fee List

✅ Step 1: Navigate to the "Tools" Dropdown

Navigate to the "Tools" dropdown on the left-hand panel of your dashboard.

✅ Step 2: Select "Playroll Fee List"

Select "Playroll Fee List" from the dropdown menu. This will open a complete list of supported countries and their associated monthly service fees.

How to Change Information on Your Profile

Update your name, contact details, or job title by accessing the Profile tab and editing your personal information in just a few steps.

✅ Step 1: Access the Profile Tab

Click on the "Profile" tab from the navigation panel on the left-hand side of your dashboard.

✅ Step 2: Edit Personal Details

In the "Personal Details" section, click the "Edit" button to update the information you wish to change. This includes fields like your name, contact details, or job title.

After making the necessary edits, click the "Save" button to confirm your changes.

Editing Your Bank Details in the Playroll Platform

Update your bank details at least 5 working days before payday to ensure smooth salary processing.

Note: Bank details must be updated at least 5 working days before your salary payment date to ensure timely processing. Editing banking information will be restricted a few days before the payment date.

From the navigation panel on the left-hand side, select the Profile tab.

Within your profile, click on the Banking details tab at the top of the page.

Click the Edit button to update your banking details. After making your changes, click Save to confirm and apply the updates.

Accessing Your Requested Documents in Playroll

To view all documents you’ve requested or received from Playroll, follow the step-by-step guide below:

Steps to Locate Your Documents

Step 1: Go to the Documents Section

Select the "Documents" category from the navigation panel on the left side of the dashboard.

Step 2: Check Employment-Related Documents

Under the "Employment related" tab, you’ll find items such as employment agreements, confirmation letters, and addendums.

Any other documents provided by our team will be listed under the "Other" tab within the same section.

Missing a document during onboarding? Contact your Employee Success Manager or Playroll Support.

If you are missing a required document during the onboarding process, please contact your Employee Success Manager as soon as possible. They will assist you in completing your onboarding and help resolve the issue promptly.

Where to Find Your Employment Agreement

View or download your Employment Agreement by navigating to the Documents tab in your Playroll profile.

Once inside your profile, click on the "Documents" tab at the top of the page to access your files.

In the Documents section, your Employment Agreement will be listed. You can open it to view or click the download icon to save a PDF copy.

How to View and Download Payslips

View or download your payslip from the Payslips & Tax section, available 1 day after your contractual salary payment date.

✅ Step 1: Open the Payslips & Tax Section

Select the "Payslips & Tax" category from the navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen.

✅ Step 2: Download Your Payslip

Once you're on the Payslips page, you can view and download the payslip you need.

Salary Payment Dates

Your salary payment date is defined in your Employment Agreement. Ordinarily the salary payment dates range between the 25th of the month to the last working day of the month depending on the territory in which you are hired.

Receiving Expense Reimbursements

If expenses are both logged and approved before the payroll cut-off date, they will be reimbursed with that month’s salary.

Expenses logged and approved after the cut-off will be reimbursed with the following month’s salary.

Where to View your Upcoming Public Holidays

You can easily view your entitled public holidays directly from your dashboard and leave calendar within the Playroll platform.

Leave calendar view

When applying for leave, public holidays are visually highlighted in green on the calendar interface. This ensures you don’t accidentally use leave on a public holiday.

How to Cancel a Pending Leave Request

Cancel a pending leave request by going to “My Leave” and clicking the ❌ next to the request before it's approved.

✅ Step 1: Go to the My Leave Section

From the left-hand navigation panel, click on the “Leave” dropdown and select “My Leave.”

✅ Step 2: Locate Your Pending Leave Request

Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the list of leave requests that are currently pending approval.

✅ Step 3: Cancel the Leave Request

Click the "X" icon located at the right end of the pending leave summary to cancel the request.

✅ Step 4: Check the History Tab

Once cancelled, your leave request will appear under the “History” tab for reference and record-keeping.

How to Apply for Leave in the Playroll Platform

To apply for leave, log in to your Playroll account and follow the steps below:

Step 1: Open the Leave Dropdown

From the home page, select the "Leave" dropdown from the navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen.

Step 2: Select "Apply for Leave"

Click on the "Apply for leave" tab.

Step 3: Choose Your Leave Type

Use the dropdown menu to select the type of leave you want to apply for.

Step 4: (Optional) Enter a Reason

You can add a reason for your leave request in the "Reason" box, though this is not mandatory.

Step 5: Select Leave Dates

Choose your start and end dates using the calendar tool. You can also specify whether the leave applies to full or half days.

Step 6: Upload Supporting Documents

If required, you can upload files such as medical notes using the "Upload Supporting Documents" button.

Step 7: Review the Leave Summary

The "Leave Summary" at the bottom of the page displays the leave to be deducted (green), your remaining balance (purple), and any holidays during the selected period (orange).

Step 8: Submit Your Application

Once all details are complete and correct, click "Submit Application". Your request will be sent to the designated approver for review.

What Taxes Will My Employee Have to Pay in a Specific Country?

The Playroll cost calculator provides a preliminary estimate of applicable taxes and net salary for employees based on country-specific data. It helps you evaluate take-home pay and employer contributions before onboarding.

Using the Cost Calculator

To access the cost calculator:

  1. Log into your Playroll account.
  2. Go to the Tools section from the main dashboard.
  3. Select the Cost Calculator and enter the necessary information.

The calculator generates an estimated breakdown including:

  • Gross salary
  • Applicable local taxes
  • Employee deductions
  • Estimated net salary

Important Considerations

Estimates provided are indicative and subject to change based on specific employee factors such as residence status, number of dependents, and selected benefits. Final payroll figures are determined after full employee data collection and review.
