How to Submit a Resignation Request in Playroll

Learn how to enter your resignation details, sign the letter, and submit your resignation request in Playroll.

This guide is for employees resigning through Playroll. It covers entering your resignation details, generating and signing the resignation letter, and submitting the request for review.

    Before you begin

    • Confirm your proposed final working date.
    • Discuss your proposed final working date with your manager before submitting, where possible.

Important: The date you enter in the request is a proposed termination date. It remains subject to review against your employment contract, your notice period, and applicable country requirements.

    Submit your resignation

✅ Step 1 – Open your resignation request

Sign in to Playroll and open your Profile. Select the Account tab, scroll to the Resignation card, and select Request.

✅ Step 2 – Review the resignation process

Read the opening screen, which explains what Playroll will do after you submit your request, then select Get started.

✅ Step 3 – Confirm manager notification and your personal email

    1. For I have informed my manager about my resignation, select I have or I have not.
    2. For I have aligned the contract end date with my manager, select I have or I have not.
    3. Check the personal email address shown and update it before continuing if it is incorrect.
    4. Select Continue.

✅ Step 4 – Enter your resignation details

Select the reason for resigning and add any useful notes. The notes field is optional, but concise context can help Playroll review your request.

Check the proposed termination date. Playroll may pre-populate a date based on the applicable notice period. Change it only where needed, as any change remains subject to review and approval.

✅ Step 5 – Generate and sign the resignation letter

    1. Select Generate & sign.
    2. Review the resignation letter generated from the information in your request.
    3. Complete the signature in the secure electronic-signature window.
    4. Return to Playroll and select Continue.

✅ Step 6 – Review the summary and submit

Review the summary carefully and confirm that the following information is correct:

    • The resignation reason and any additional notes.
    • The proposed final working date.
    • Your personal email address.
    • Your manager-notification confirmations.
    • The signed resignation letter.

Once everything is accurate, select Submit. The Resignation card on your profile will update to show that the request is under review.
